About Dr. Sunny Virdi

Dr. Sunny Virdi is a specialist who is dealing with lung problems. He started his career with graduation from govt. Medical college Patiala in 2001. Since the beginning of his studies he developed a special interest in the field of medicine so much so that by the end of his second year of graduation he was clear in his mind to pursue internal medicine further. He joined PGIMS Rohtak in 2009 as a resident in internal medicine & gained experience in the field from   this tertiary care centre. During his training he was specially inclined towards critical care i.e the speciality dealing with the sickest of patients of all problems. He worked as a senior resident at the department of internal medicine later & during that tenure  prepaired for Pulmonary medicine as a super speciality. He started his DM (superspeciality degree) in the department of pulmonary & critical care at PGIMS IN 2012 Rohtak which happens to be the biggest tertiary care hospital in Haryana. he learnt skills to deal with sick patients and how to connect to their attendants as humanly as possible in their lowest times. He later served as an Assistant Professor in the department of pulmonary & critical care medicine at the PGI Rohtak. Then he shifted to Tricity and joined super speciality Hospital as a consultant. His moto on which he practice is to serve the patients in the lowest of their health & minds when they need skills of medicine as well as a kind pat on their shoulders as a reassurance that as a doctor and a friend he is with them. His dream is to make critical care more approachable for patients and provide them a comfortable environment to get better.
